How will my personal data be used?

We may use and share your information with other members across the Group to help us and them:

  • Assess financial and insurance risks
  • Recover debt
  • Prevent and detect crime
  • Develop our services, systems and relationships with you
  • Understand our customers' requirements
  • Develop and test products and services.

We will not keep your information for longer than is necessary.

How do I renew my policy?

Lockton will contact you in writing in good time prior to the renewal date of your policy.

Who underwrites the policy?

The policy is underwritten through Omnyy LLP (Our Managing General Agent) on behalf of Royal & Sun Alliance. Omnyy LLP is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, is a wholly-owned subsidiary with the Lockton UK Ltd group of companies acting as an underwriting agent for Royal & Sun Alliance plc and provides products developed to give a wide scope of cover at competitive prices.

Do you operate a refund policy?

You have a right to cancel the cover within 14 days of the date you receive the policy documents. If you exercise this right you will be entitled to a refund of the premium unless a claim has been made. Any cancellation made after this cooling-off period will result in a refund of the unused premium, minus £25 cancellation fee, providing no claims have been made in the current insurance period.

When does my cover begin and end?

Policy cover commences and terminates on the dates that you request.

In which language will the contract be concluded?

The contract will be concluded in English.
